I got saved when I was 16, but the life I had was not easy. I lost my mom when I was only 2 years old. I struggled with drinking, drugs, stealing, fighting, just about anything you can think of. Lived with my father who was a veteran with one leg, 2 sisters and 4 brothers. I lost my older brother in Vietnam. I then lost my youngest bother who was shot right before my eyes. He died in my arms. I couldn’t get over the fact that my brother had died because in reality that bullet was meant for me. I then lost my father at the age of 18, dealing with the loss of both parents my brothers I then began to do our own thing. At the age of 23 I met my wife and we now have 4 children. I was still doing “my own thing“, drinking, cheating, not caring that I knew the word of God and taking my family straight to hell. As the years went by and 18 years of marriage, my wife and I were separated and in the process of getting a divorce. I came to realize that I was about to lose everything that meant the most to me. I talked to God and asked for guidance and wisdom. His answer was that I needed to change my life. So then I had to let my pride go and ask for forgiveness and my wife and kids to come back to me, because I needed them. So In the year 2000 we went to church and I asked Jesus to come back in to my life, and I’ve been serving him ever since. I am a faithful father and husband, fulfilling the call of ministry on my life as a vital part of The Vision Ministry. I serve as an Armor Bearer, Minister and Assistant under the direction of Rev. Delmar Coward Jr. and Sister Charlotte Coward.
